well vinnai thandi varuvaya... shall i start from de songs... yeah mayb i shud as a tribute to the 2 oscar and grammy winner the one and onlly ARR.... the name itself explains all of it.. if its rahman then its gud tats my opinion... as i expected de songs were a blast... FANTABULOUS.... altogether there are 7 tracks in the movie:
1. Hosannah ( Praise the love )
sang by vijay prakash as the lead singer and blaaze for the rapping parts... vijay prakash is the guy who sang manmoherey song in the movie yuvvraj.. for those who knw de movie and de song.. u shud knw hw well he sings.. working hand in hand wif rahman ji.. he din fail to do his magic again... yes indeed its a very catchy song.. i bet who ever listens to de album for the 1st time tis song will be their fav...
2. Omana Penne ( Beutiful Girl )
this song is by benny dhayal and kalyani menon.. benny dhayal gave his westerns touches to de song... wic spells out awesomeness pure awesomeness... de startin of de song a slow melody with sum cheeky beats and at de flow benny dhayals voice falls in... beautiful thats wat i can explain... not forgettin de malayalam beat in de song.. although i dun undersatand wat it means... even that jus blends into de song...
3. Manippaya
here comes de man himself. sung by de great Rahman and shreya ghoshal... errmmmm shreya de fame of munbe vaa... jus melted most of our hearts wif tis song.. rahmans introduction the kanne tadhumari nadanthen part jus brings us to another stage of understanding... lets the listeners feel the love within... each and evry time
the mannippaya is repeated wit a different shruthi i mean differen way... i dunno whetehr the word i used is rite or not... welll thats de legend himself there so explanation valid for the creativeness... moving on to the lyrics thamarai did a great job.. the thirukkural part was mind blowing...
4. Anbil Avan
by Devan and chinmayee... this is a marriage track which is suitable to play in any wedding... a modern wedding song i wud say... uyire unnai unnai enthan vazhkai tunaiyaga etkiren... that lyrics jus speaks it all out... beautiful song wic explains de happiness in a marriage felt by debride and groom.. and the vows they take... rahman music do i still have to xplain.. its superb... de man is jus proving he is better by each of the song..
5. Kannukul Kannai
by naresh iyer. he jus sang it wit all his feeling puring out... the guy tells de gal that he is not her fren but her life partner thats wat de songs about... de starting violin intro and wit de mix of bit before de starting of de song.. jus makes me go wow... de picturization for de song and de dance steps jus awesome...
6. Vinnaithandi varuvayaa
by karthik... de them song i wud say... very slow melody wic has de enlightment in it... i felt de song piercin rite tru my heart... and karthiks voice jus blooms de song more and more.. tis song is used as de bgm for some parts in de movie... rahman is so gud is choosin de place to put de songs... de bgm for this song jus blends wit de scene..
7. Aaromale ( My darling )
last but not the least.... this is a malayalam song sang by alphonse joseph... who is a malayalam music director... de guitar strummin is awesome... tis was a bonus track for gautham menon and de best one in de movie... de strummings r actually not normal ones... if u listen its like de blue and jazz kinda stuff... alphonse brought up de song so well... i mean he was reli gud.... a very diferen track indeed.... a very diferen malayalam weddin track indeed..
there were 3 songs used as bgms tru out de movie... vinnaithandi varuvaya , hosannah and aaromale.... all 3 used very well... wif de choosing of de situations so that it blends well to the situation... ARR is jus day by day climbing up de staircase a moving a way up in the music industry... hats off to the legend... his songs will leave on by his name forever...
